Non Alcoholic Ginger Wine with clove

How do you serve your Ginger Wine?
Our ginger wine is so versatile it can cater to all different tastes and ideas. The obvious way is to drink it! There is no need to dilute as our ginger wine comes ready to serve. You can add hot boiling water to it in a glass for a lovely hot ginger drink. It is amazing served with a wonderful piece of butter shortbread as this complements the flavour. This is how we served it in our family over the generations.
You can add it to sparkling water, soda water, as a mixer and we have several customers who also cook with it. There is a wonderful array of possibilities with it.
How do you store it?
Ideally, at room temperature. It can be kept in the fridge and it has an expiry date 4 months from manufacture. It will be best before this date.
What ginger do you use?
We use a ginger and capsicum tincture which are both supplied by a fully qualified and tested herbal pharmacist. This means the quality of ginger and capsicum used are of a high grade.
Are there any health benefits with your ginger wine?
This is not being sold as a cure or to help with any symptoms. Please consult your doctor before taking ginger preparations if you are on medication, especially blood thinners. We know that from our customers testimonials, our ginger wine has helped with pregnancy nausea and heartburn, stomach issues, digestion issues, colds and flu's, respiratory issues to name a few.
This was a family recipe that is over 100 years.
It was used by the older generations as a tonic for when someone wasn't well and the sugar content helped to build them up while the ginger helped to alleviate symptoms. There is still a lot of our older generation customers who know the amazing benefits of a glass of ginger wine! It is free from all artificial colours and preservatives and is gluten free.
